Apollo 18. Amazing cinematography gorgeous movie. I thought it was damn solid.
Cowboys and aliens. Pure win on crazy scifi violence.

| The Inbetweeners Movie
Probably means absolutely nothing to you foreigners but it's a very popular TV series over here which, unlike most of them, is actually very very good. The movie was even better than the show. One of the funniest films I've seen for a long time.

| Toolbox Murders-So bad did not pay attention.
The Decent-I really enjoyed this movie. The all girl cast was pretty kick ass and at times I felt it did not need monsters to be scary; the claustrophobia was enough. Interesting Gollum-like creatures though.
Grandma's Boy-Have not seen this in a few years; forgot Jonah Hill was in it. Stupid cheap laughs of course.

| Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
It's been a while since I've seen Gary Oldman flex his muscle and actually act, but when he does they're aren't many people who can compare. Nothing OTT, just quietly believeable and very compelling. Amazing film: paced to perfection, with a palpable sense of tension that too many thrillers just don't have.
Best film I've seen in a long time. 10/10.

| Mr Jekyll/Mr Hyde 1920-It was silent but well done; he was actually creepy.
Captain America-For some reason I did not care for it. The acting seemed meh to me, same with the action. Had some good parts but not a fan overall.
Horrible Bosses-I laughed alot; sometimes missing other jokes because of it. Highly amusing and worth the watch.
1408-It starts as a suspense-driven thriller, turns into a horror, then gets all inside your head. I have not read the King short story and am not sure how his ends; there is an alternate ending. Cusack is good and it has good scenes but it drags.

That's not entirely true. "You look radiant today, Brute." That just got me one step closer to homosexuality, which is somewhere I guess. I'm going to take a cold shower now.

Just thought there was absolutely nothing good about it. The plot was my main problem. It was ridiculous and had countless holes and a lot of it was predictable or anti-climactic. And the ending....has to be the WORST ending to a film I've ever seen. No comeuppance for him. No concequences for leading his life like a reckless asshole. Just a "but everything turned out ok in the end kthanxbia" cop out. Also it had a really messed up moral message. Take crazy drugs and your life will be amazing? Really? Maybe I'm looking into it too much but that seemed pretty messed up to me.

| When you put it that way, im on your side. I also hate the fact that it was like "lol, drugs work, LULZ". The moral message wasnt bad, but yes, it was all rather told hum-drumly
What i DID like was the cinematography. It was exhilarating. I dont mean the scenes that were all colorful since he was "high", the way it was shot was spectacular. Excellent casting. Great dialogue. "I could feel all the right words bubbling up to my frontal cortex. She didnt stand a chance". I didnt quote that any justice, but it was a great line.
the rest of the people that got on my case for being slightly harsh to darkflame: sheesh. He's a big boi, he can take care of himself. axe, your argument made my head spin with confusion.

Yeah I don't really know. I was drinking last night. Well that would have been two nights ago. I suppose it was well shot, I can't say I noticed the dialogue though. I tend to put much more importance on acting (which was meh I thought), plot etc.

| Solomon Kane - Meh. Wasn't terrible. It started off pretty bad, but got slightly better towards the end when the actions started to pick up. The acting was very average and pretty laughably overdone at some points, the dialogue was horribly cliched and the plot was a little dumb at times and the special effects were shocking (seriously, that scene with the demon....lulz. It looked like he was being attacked by a giant pixel) but some parts were genuinely quite enjoyable.
Old School - Not much to say about it. It was great dumb fun. One of the few genuinely good Will Ferrel films.
Inception - Wow. What a film. Definitely one of the best I've seen in a while. I was slightly worried I wouldn't follow it because of the old "OMG ITZ 2 CONFUZIN" thing, but really it wasn't that hard to follow once you got your head wrapped around the concept. Quite basically, every aspect of it was done brilliantly.

Reign of Fire-Good graphics, mildly entertaining
Hunting Party-Surprisingly decent, mix of humour and seriousness
Things to do in Denver when you are dead-It was Pulp Fiction-ish. I quite enjoyed it; great cast

However, what made me watch the movie was that one of the supporting actors was Charlie Day of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and he's a fucking comedic genius.

Pretty great film. Still not all too impressed with Daniel Radcliffe, he's tolerable though and, aside from a fairly slow start, pretty much every other aspect of the film was done very well.

Weird...mine was like that too. This huge group of 13/14 year olds a few rows behind us kept pissing laughing themselves every time any one of them jumped. They eventually got screamed at by some angry woman which shut them up. Seriously, I don't think there is ANYTHING I find more annoying than noisy cinema crowds.
