| Blue Oyster Cult is one of my favorites. Check out the ELO song "Sweet Talkin' Woman", that's probably my favorite.
Also, check out the Blue Oyster Cult album "Fire of Unknown Origin". That's a phenomenal album man

| Last thing I downloaded was the latest Devourment album and regretted it. The last album I bought was The Essential Ozzy Osbourne for £3. Good stuff, even if I have most of his albums. |

| Yeah. I had Devourment on my old iPod and I liked it but it was pretty much just basic simplistic brutal death metal. I usually like to play other things but I listen to it occasionally.
I just tried getting a "blind" album (without listening to a sample before hand, because of speakers). I just went for something pretty random called Forest Silence, their album "Philosophy of Winter." For some really odd reason my iPod seems to skip around or something whenever a song finishes. The album to my ears is merely okay but as far as mediocre black metal albums go it is very solid. It almost reminds me of the "SS" of black metal (Scar Symmetry). It's quite relentlessly consistent in quality. There are few stand-out moments. I really shouldn't say it is mediocre, just some parts of it are. Some of it is pretty good.
Actually I might have a virus on the iPod or it might be ****ing up. I think I remember reading about this skippage around thing somewhere. Hopefully it can be fixed...
At the moment I think it might have been some corrupted files. I'm getting the iPod software update and I deleted the last songs I added (I wasn't incredibly concerned about keeping them anyways) so hopefully it will work after this. I doubt it's a hardware failure although it was clicking a lot (but it always does that).
Okay that was odd, it kind of froze on the disconnect screen. I used the menu + button thing to break out of the freeze though.
Oh? Is it really working? Let's try skipping a song...
Man, 1349 has never sounded so sweet. Hell yes.

This is heresy; Jaz Coleman (vox) is legend, and the band are quite big and popular. Dave "Nice Guy" Grohl played skins on one of their albums: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zy0QlZVZeANirvana actually stole the riff for Come as You Are from Killing Joke, for which they were duely sued. |
