Guitar Amplifier Advice

Hate, this thread is mainly for you.
I still have yet to buy an amp, because i dont have the money ever
but i just got some more money and was going to buy an amp.
I want a 2x12 or a 2x10, though not required, that wont break 300 perferably lower, has a good
tone and review, maybe built in effects, and is powerful enough to play at a show.
I also cant ebay it as the shipping will break my budget most definately.
What model/kind of amp should i get?

Hay kerry is killer to hang out with ! There is a bar he hangs out in NYC called duffs and he can drink !! I drive up there 2 or 3 times a year to hang out with some buddys of mine and we alwas head down to duffs and drink ! About 4 or 5 years ago i was hanging with my buddy from Nyc and He told me that duffs was a kick ass metal bar so we went down and i'd be damned if kerry king did'nt come in . I felt like a " FAN " .. Nightcrawler told me that kerry and his wife comes in alot so just treat him like anyone else . So i walked up and said " Hay my name is HATE and SLAYER are GODS " He laughed and said " YEA " .. After nightcrawler kerry king and myself got drunk .. And yes i have pic's and he did sign some of my cd covers i had with me . I got to hang with the whole band in pitt back stage and got the whole band to sign **** . But if you get to hang with kerry buy him a shot of Jagermeister.

i will, my dad works at busweiser so ill just give him a case of beer as well , lol
you should tell more stories hate, i enjoy them.

I hate line 6 amps ! But there was a 2 ~ 12 for under 300$ ..

yea i can give them that
they are cheap
but then again
because they are cheap
they are cheaply made and not as great as crate or peavy

Peavey valveking is sweet, i have a marshall valvestate but mine is rare and discontinued. I would say valveking

i take a look
i think marshalls are good amps, but they are more of LOUD
then have a sweet tone

the marshall MG series, the solid state, are shitty. Mine is solid state and has a tube preamp but is all-tube-quality

Spider III Line 6, incredible amp with multiple effects, amp models and sooo much more. I have it. It's amazing (I feel like a commercial right now.)

I dont like the flexwave stuff from crate but its just because it sounds like its alwas over FXed .
I have never played the raven stuff so i dont know anything about it .
The v tone stuff is STRONG ,,, But most of the stuff that i know about ( my buddys that have had it ) it dies fast . Its a good amp for about a year and then it goes to hell .. CRATE stuff is the way to go if your going to make metal , It not a clean style amp its all BALLS .. Thats the way to go ..

My friend has the 2x10 berringer it sounds exactly like line 6 its too digital sounding and has a "distant" sound to it. For your price range i wouldve decided on the peavey valveking, considering its all-tube

1x12 is too small im going with a raven 212

tubes are way louder than solid state despite the size

true, but I already have a tube 1x10 and it gets loud, but i need this other amp for other things and it has a decent tone.

marshalls are too ****ing expensive for what they are
250 for a 1x10
