It's just a compilation album, not really a new one. But yeah, I don't really care to hear anything else from him. Fallen was pretty good but i dont need any more

its always been silly. thats i why i thought people loved it. but it can also be serious. the weird thing about it is, the less serious a band takes itself, the more serious i view them. its the bands that take themself too seriously where all the sillyness spawns from.

If you defend Skeletonwitch, then you might as well defend Toxic Holocaust, Evile, Bonded by Blood, Warbringer, and every other boring nu-thrash band.

Skeletonwitch actually has riffs though, sure they have a bit of a throwback attitude but they do it fucking well. Much better than the other bands you mentioned, except I like Toxic Holocaust a lot too. But really, if you don't agree that makes you the false because that's about as metal as a band can get

They have shitty black metal riffs and shitty thrash riffs. For a thrash metal band, they don't have very much energy.

Guys, is it wrong if I'm starting to like Dream Theater again?

I think Dream Theater could be so much better if the singer wasn't so clearly the weak link. Stream of Conciousness is my favourite song.

What albums are you hitting up?

Dream Theater would be better if they weren't about masturbating their instruments all the time and stopped with the tough guy metal act.

I only have Black Clouds and Silver Linings, and that's from when I was into them when I was much younger, and I can't really find a copy, so I've been listening to their songs on youtube.
For me, they're best listened in portions, so I can jump into their coolest jams and sections.

The only material I can even tolerate anymore is from the first album
