Satanism as a metaphor for freedom makes the most sense to me. Church of Satanism, Orthodox Satanism, etc...no thanks. To me Satan is just a character though.

Exactly. That's what I'm getting at. I'm completely atheist but I still enjoy philosophical discussions, and my beliefs in the non existence of a god are as strong as your beliefs in his existence. You have to take emotions out of it, and look at it academically. People don't disagree with you, they disagree with your opinion, and that can be a hard thing for people to accept.

Yes, I agree with that. But when you ask for proof or start trying to say it's pointless to believe in something you don't see, that's when I get angry. If you simply brought up another point of view that would be fantastic. But it's never that simple. Anyway, I'm off for now going to go spend the rest of the night writing and playing
