That Metal Show & Religion/Morals Discussion

I read a little and that's all I need to read. They interviewed some of the leading scientists. of course not all scientists are athiests and feel that way, but god damn there are a lot and they are the leading scientists. If that's propoganda, then anything is propoganda if it simply seeks to change something.

Do they need to start showcasing some newer bands or what?

Definitely. I don't even want to watch it, it's just so generic.

I know! I mean, it's decent for tv, but they can do better than that. They need to make it more frequent and a little longer, and they can showcase all kinds of metal. That would be awesome

I wanna make my own metal show, or a documentary someday.

I was thinking about making one with only photos, and then youtubing it.

If I evr have a large sum of money I would like to make my own metal show. Or maybe a metal magazine or something. Because there is nothing cooler than cramming as much metal as humanly possible into a tiny segment or magazine

When I was at college me and my friends pretty much took over the school radio station and played metal and hardcore punk. It was a blast, it was in redneck Indiana, so all the yocals hated us.

I actually got a death threat that was sent through the mail from some yocal who tuned into the show. I played something by Gorgoroth and said "They're Satanists yea, but that just makes it more fun". This guy was so pissed he threatened to find my dorm room and kill me in my sleep it was f***ing hilarious. He made the mistake of sending the letter to the school's main address, so it ended up going to the superintendent. The guy got arrested, it was fantastic.

The guys who were running it quit because no one listened to it. They had it set up as a pop station. So we were the only ones left who wanted anything to do with the station, so we just did what we wanted with it, and people started tuning in for our music.

and id just like to say i get sick to my stomach when i think of "the beginning" it is just so unknown and so large and i dont know where to begin. i mean, people have conversations about this type of things stating actually Physics facts that zoom over my head. I remember hearing about string theory and being like "woah". basically, anything smart VR says im still like "woah". that type of thing just isnt on my small small mind radar

i wish i could explain it better, but the vastness just boggles me. i know so little compared to what other geniuses know, and in comparison they know so very little

im going to go get high. excuse me

I'm kinda always on the fence with these Christian and science arguments. I was brought up as a Christian but my family aren't really religious. I never went to church or anything (well, I was baptised but that doesn't really mean much to me) and... I dunno. I wouldn't say I'm an atheist, but I don't completely believe in God either.

This thread never stays on topic even when it goes off topic...

I like to think I've reached a point in my metal knowledge where I can start showing others bands. Basically you guys set the stepping stones, then I got bored and started walking faster. Now I consider myself at the same level of metalcabulary as you guys. Well, some of you.
