Its following the theme of a story and war
Combination of favourite themes of music
If you do listen, listening to the words is vital

The singer seriously needs to sing in this voice in every song, not that whiney tone that he switches too. The voice he has is so unique, he has got to stick with it

I love that song. My brother was playing that in the car once and I really liked it. I also like their song that is similar that's called "Swing Life Away"

that album....Appeal to Reason....is fan-f***ing-tastic. i love it. i have always been a rise against fan. this album is very very good. i recommend setting aside an hour or so and powering through all the songs. very good lfow

Rise Against is my brother's favorite band. But I remember from a few years ago when "Swing Life Away" came out.... I understand why people dislike it though. It's the song they made so would get popular, because if you notice all their stuff before that was post-hardcore stuff.

this album is much better than their previous efforts.
they had a very punk-post punk sound....but this album is much more....mainstream....i dont want that to scare anybody....but it is spectacular

I like when he sings sorta in between. His screaming voice is very good and very unique, and you can understand it easily.

Still think that is a great tune. Pretty thrashing
