ALMOUTH, Mass. - A group of boys, ages 12 to 14, may face child pornography charges for distributing nude pictures of a 13-year-old female classmate, police said.

The Cape Cod Times reported a Lawrence School student took a photo of his girlfriend naked and texted the picture to his friends. School officials discovered six students were disseminating the photo, and their cell phones were confiscated.

The charges against the boys include possessing or exhibiting a photograph of a child in a sexual act, distributing material of a child in a sexual act, and possession of child pornography, police told the Times.
