since I've worn my retainer actually longer, and let me just say it hurts like hell, but not as much I thought it would. also I speak with an imparement

Urghh, when I was 11, I had train tracks for 18 months with those annoying rubber bands that f*cking destroy your soul with unbelievable pain. I then had a removable retainer for 6 months.

Worth it though, my teeth are now perfect barring two filings.

why does it hurt? maybe because your teeth are moving and shit, i use mine at night.

why dont u use the other ones? i had them for a year and started using retainers by night.

Its probably because your teeth have moved a lot and the retainer has loosened and moulded in a position your jaw is not

ive been pretty decent about wearing them. i think i wore them every night for a year, and then now i have slowed down to about 2-4 nights a week. they hurt for only 30 minutes, but the pain is not even close to those cocksucking rubber bands

My teeth are horrendous, and I will be getting braces most likely. Too bad it's going to be when I'm in college

better than having braces longer
retainers are fine
you wear them at night. it doesnt matter at all.
and if you are a good little boy, you dont have to wear them every night if you behave the first year. like i said, i can get away with 2-4 times a week

Braces 4 years, still going, 2 oral surgeries, 1 for wisdom teeth, 1 for a mesiodense, rubber bands 2 of the 4 years, and I will have a retainer. I get my braces off FINALLY soon.
