I would be strangely down to play this

Story + puzzles = good game type

Japanes puzzle game = almost everything I hate in games

Puzzle + story is just such a simple beautiful concept. It covers all the basic grounds, and has nearly limitless possibilities. Of course a lot of the games might not be that great, but it's a sick category. I haven't played many story + puzzle games. I haven't looked into them much, and there probably aren't that many good ones.

I think it's different. You can beat the game regardless of what story path decisions you make, as long as you're good at the puzzles.
