The topic was brought up because of a Science assignment i'm doing. The question I ask is why do people think there is some kind of ethical problem with using animal cells, tissue and organs to save human lives? Surely it's just like using a dead humans organs?

Your thoughts?

i just heard of this recently. seems really cool. personally, i have practically 0 qualms about any science thing. i think any development in science should be celebrated, and not seen as an avenue of "wasting money, time, and resources"

I guess if it works it would be okay, but the thing is how can scientists be absolutely sure an organ from a different animal would be compatible with humans
