Hey, no picking on the hearing disabled, its a very serious condition. Living with that condition every day must be a nightmare.

Hell, you can't even claim disabilities with that list. I bet even deaf people know to hate Despised Icon...

But Meshuggah and Pitbulls in the Nursery aren't deathcore (Meshuggah still sucks though)

I consider that the concept of "Deathcore" its quite stupid, its just an excuse for oldschool metal fans to pick on new music styles. I also listen bands as Morbid Angel, Obituary, Carcass, Death, Sinister and a lot more and i really like them .
I find Despised Icon as a real good band, Im a drummer and I really admire Alex Pelletier, DI´s drummer.
I really really don't think that DBB, Meshuggah and PITN should be included on that concept. Anyway, thanks for the comment.

I agree, the very concept of Deathcore is stupid. Breakdowns, yuk.

Bands that have some metalcore and/or deathcore style to their music aren't necessarily bad...it just depends on what they do with the music. I mean Despised Icon is somewhat deathcoreish but they are a long ways off from something that is an obnoxiously generic deathcore band. Personally I like God Forbid and I have the same attitude towards them as far as metalcore goes...yeah it's metalcore but it has some thrash sound and it doesn't sound generic...I quite like it. Well earlier stuff was more melodic death metallish.
