Municipal Waste - Horny for Blood
The new album is fan-fookin-tastic. A little more restrained, a bit more of a hardcore influence, but I like that, they're still catchier than aids.

I think I might be the only person on the forum who doesn't like Dimmu Borgir.
I have no friggen idea what Vortex is doing with them: his vocal talents are amazing, he should start a new band like Arcturus, and dump DB pronto. How can you have talent like that in a band and then have shitty Shagrath as the vocalist? The same goes for Hellhammer, DB aren't worthy of his talents.

Similar to System of a Down Serj carries the band, Serj on his own sounds like system still. The other fools in their own bands sound like rookies
Also I think the suicidal tendencies guitarist is too good for the band imo
Buckethead! He is too good for himself

I listened to Urfaust's second album last night. I thought they spent too much time trying to create the atmosphere. They created it well and it had good stuff but that the time it took was unnecessary and left a lot of twiddling thumbs time.
So now I'm listening to the first album again which I like better.

yeah the first one is better. i assume you are referring to the full lengths. Geist ist Teufel is the best it sounds so ancient

Yeah I'm referring to full-lengths. These were pretty much my thoughts on Geist Ist Teufel: Songs 1-6... 1. Great introduction. 2. Amazing song, lots of feeling. 3. Strange upbeat song but I can go with it. 4. Another amazing song with lots of feeling. 5. One of the best ending songs I've heard period. 6. Like 15 minutes of ambient/noise that is kind of cool but a little too long to me I thought 4~7 minutes would have been enough. It does sound rather timeless and ancient I agree. I don't know why but my mind is set to an earlier time when I hear it, like the 1700s or something.
Then the next full-length... 1. 13 minute introduction with maybe ~3 minutes of good stuff. 2. Good song but not nearly as intense as the previous album stuff. 3. Same as above. 4. Same as #1 pretty much but more enjoyable. 5. Pretty damn cool song I must admit. 6. Not a bad song at all but not as good as stuff on album 1. I don't like how it takes a turn for the upbeat but that's just me. 7. Ending orchestra track, and a pretty decent one.

Sounds promising, I'll check it out.
Wow you just described the music with text. That's amazing, but yeah it is kind of funny and goofy. I remember when I first heard the album I wasn't paying too much attention and after it had been playing for like three minutes I stopped for a second and thought, "Wait...what the hell is going on?"

i've never listened to this particular nazarene album before and it's pretty weird. a lot of goat orgies and whatnot. kinda like grindcore in parts.
