A story I am working on

So I have to take this terrible fable and turn it into a short story
Here it is

So there was a man who walked into a forest one day. And he asked the tree's for a branch. He saw branch fall and he took it. Only to turn it into an axe and cut down the tree's. How foolish the tree's felt for this act.


So here are my idea's for this
-Takes place in Albania
-His father is a blacksmith who makes the axe out of wood he is given
-After he cuts down too many tree's he does not return to that forest for a year
-As he is gone, they use the forest as gallows, where people are hung for crimes
-He returns to the forest and asks for more wood
-A bloody rope with a loop falls the moment he asks and he runs away terrified
These are my ideas, it doesn't really have a moral though, any suggestions?

i think heonly makes FABLES...(ANIMAL FABLES)

Fables aren't necessarily only exclusive to stories about animals, they are just short stories with morales, Aesop generally used animals to symbolise humans such as a lion to represent the king as it punishable by death to use reference to the king in a bad way, but not all his fables used animals

i had this book withall his fables...we had to read every single fable like...in 3rd grade...and as far as i know all were based on the animal kindgdon...or whatsoever

If you abuse a privilege, then nature will **** you up

Maybe it means that...you must retribude nature in a good way,,cuz we get every single thing we have from Nature...butthats some randon **** from my mind..
