vice is indeed hysterically dumb sometimes, but they sometimes report interesting shit. i understand the fear though. when people pass super broad vague bills like that, it can potentially be dangerous

I almost need to hear someone in person comment on bills being passed so I don't get a bias and I hear what is actually going on. Because reading articles like that just make it sound like the sky is falling when in reality they are just doing some policing housekeeping. But again, journalists fact-checking? truth, I just remember, some states pass laws like that over here occasionally that kind of allow law enforcement to do whatever the fuck they want, so I didn't find it unbelievable
