Hello!

One of my girlfriend's best friends made this site and he told me to join it, and I thought the illustration at the top of the page looked cool so I did.

I design and write things and listen to mostly indie stuff, but some metal and hip-hop too.

Matt how is the new Arcade Fire album? I have all of their stuff except that. I hear Reflector on the radio all the time - it's alright - I wouldn't put it over The Suburbs however

Hello there! Welcome! I read a little on your blog there you have a wide taste in music. I'm mostly indie anything that falls under the indie/alternative label and metal of all kinds. I'm sure we'll overlap plenty.

I dig Foals, Chrvches and Deafheaven from your 2013 list. Haven't listened to a few others I'll have to check a few out

I'm always down for layout improvements - what were you thinking?

You are so right right about AF... Funeral will remain their master stoke. As for the layout, though blue is a complimentary colour to orange, I'd change the both the font style and colour of the title fonts and I'd add some definitions to the buttons. I.E. maybe a different colour to the tie depending on whether the icon appears at the top or bottom of a post etc...

Indeed. Rebellion is easily their best single as well. I only keep three songs from "The Suburbs" album now. Already tired of it. Funeral is consistently good

I was pretty underwhelmed by the album as a whole, though I did have pretty unrealistic expectations going into it. For me it usually takes a while for their albums to grow on me so that just may be the case. I've only given it two listens all the way through so far.
