Have you seen the Steam Console's Controller?

I know people want innovation, but look at this damn thing. Personally, I'd be a Steam player if I had a better computer, neat that Steam is creating a console. Not sure how intuitive this thing is going to be- if it's bad I'm sure there will be an alternate

Your accustomed to react more aggressively on the thumbsticks when the game is getting intense. What would you do in this scenario? There isn't anything to interact with, your thumb is the thumbstick

I don't think it would take too much adjustment from a conventional controller. It's essentially the same actions, just on a flat surface.

As the various Steam systems will run any OS you'll be able to hook up a Xbox or Playstation controller in any case if that's your preference.

The appearance scares the hell out of me. I'd like to have more faith in Valve, but that thing looks atrocious. It looks incredibly uncomfortable to use for long gaming sessions and just looks unintuitive as hell.

It also seems that the amount of area for you to place your thumb is gigantic. Feel like you'll get a blister rubbing your thumb against those edges for long periods of time
