Most people don't know, or do, not sure at this point, but I signed my Air Force papers, when I turn 17, I start training for my billet and once I graduate, which will probably be by the end of this year, I will be going to basic training. So, I am going off into the world soon.

At least it's not the army

You know what i said brother . I have a lot of respect for you and what most people dont know is this will make you a better man . When you go to get a job and they see that you were in the military you will be put at the top of the list . You will see the world , You will learn so much that others will never get the chance to know . I know you will be a great soldier , A prould soldier , You will do us prould ! I tip my hat to you Sir ,We need more men and women to do as you are to keep this great land free . I know you want to go to school and military will send you and pay for it . That's such a big decision to make but if you feel it's right, good for you. When I was 16, I did not know what I wanted to do the next day. I just wanted to hangout with friends and watch TV and plow through books. When I was 18 I decided university was right for me and even now, I am not ready to so permenently dedicate myself to a specific career, I like the option of changing my mind and doing what I want while still having an education and now making money. As Brute said, I'm glad there are people out there that feel the calling because it's definitly not for me. Good luck and I hope it's everything you expected.

Well, peace corps don't pay for college, im not interested in pay, but it would be stupid not to accept it. That's also the greatest thing about America, you can have your opinion. Taxer isn't doing anything wrong, though I don't agree with what he says.
