Well in 2006 I was joining an Xbox forum. My favourite game was breakdown. See my avatar. Unfortunately breakdown also means to have an outburst of emotion. So of course the name was taken. So I thought, oh shi- how tough would it be if I added you in it? It'd be my game plus manlyness. My youtube name was breakyoudown for a long time. Then I started posting videos of clips of random shows and I made them say funny stuff because I had so much time on my hands back then. Anyway that account got banned and that is why I have a bad youtube name

Needed a name for online aliases, xbox live, etc. Was reading one of those random encyclopedias of almost everything. Formosus was a Pope, was killed by a falling roof, then his body was put on trial, executed and all his deeds were renounced. Sounded fun and also no site has a Formosus xD

well, i have a longish story

in high school we had an economics project. we had to create a group name. several weeks went by and we still had no name. our teacher was one of those cool kind of teachers, he suggested "hammerpants" like M.C. hammer's pants. oooh, forgot, i came up with the name "purelyonawhim" before hammerpants
simple english really, "on a whim" kind of means like, just out of the blue; with little or no preconceived notions. so i added "purely" before it.
so my name basically means "for no apparent reason"

Aye, it makes things so much more interesting. Only problem is when people want a certain one and start spelling it with numbers and adding x's and stuff until it gets to the stage XxXxXoXoX SN1P3R XoXoXxXxX, etc

And yeah, when I think back now, it makes me think, will I have the same horrible yet humorous fate? =P

I got my username from a japanese song called "Shinjitsu No Uta" and it means "The Song Of Truth" the song was really calming so most of my screen names for other places became Shinjitsu which means truth. Then everyone started calling me Shin because it was shorter and because it still meant the same thing I decided to make it my screen name over here Razz
