Hanging Garden EP

The emotion in this song is overwhelming me. Hanging Garden are going places.

Picking up some "Blazing Eternity" vibes. I don't know what it is about this genre of metal, it's so good to listen to when you are exhausted. It just feels right, significant, important, relevant.

Good stuff man, how many albums have these fellows released?

Sounds about right with the Blazing Eternity comparison. More if they rubbed shoulders with Saturnus, but they might be a little too dreary whereas Hanging Garden's delivery is pretty solid.

They released one called Inherit the Eden once upon a time. It was pretty well received, but I didn't quite care too much for it. The sophomore record, At Every Door, was a lot to get excited about. I believe you read about it already, but if you want to check it out again, here it is.

I have to admit, I enjoyed this but something felt a little... off. I'm going to give this track a few more listens and perhaps download the EP. I think the clean vocals were the thing that kind of put me off a little. The composition is fantastic though... the emotions come out clear as day. I'll have to get back to you on this.

Also, realized I never revisited the 2013 albums threads! I need to do that, and compose my best of list. I'm back in school this week, so far I've had no more than an hour to myself each day. Fucking sucks.

I think it's the uncertainty that accents the drama. The clean vocal delivery is indeed a little strange, but after the first couple words it evolves to accompany the song instead of combat it. The other songs on the EP are arguably better, especially Winter to Summer Adverse. I just posted this one because it hit me like a truck.
