I intend to integrate minimalism in older tracks we're dredging up, but it's agreed on all fronts that the newer tracks bring more breadth musically. I'm making a personal goal of next Tuesday, given I know the one we're about to record from back to front - but I cannot guarantee that just yet. I'll update the thread as we go, but it may not be very rapid.
The newer tracks are more "tragic hero" if I can describe them from a singular perspective. They seem very wistful but possess a particular solidarity that carries the charged metal music forward. We have a song called Wasteland that we're working on now that's just terrific, and the composing doesn't seem to have an end in sight. It's a good time.
Thanks a ton for listening, sir. Dark ambient and other forms of audible penumbra are my specialty.
