the last season wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as the rest. And from what I understand, they lost one or more of their main writers. And I don't think they are based off of the stories in the books anymore. We'll just have to see, as long as they can keep the suspense up I'll keep watching. And by the promos, it's looking good. A religious sorta theme could be very interesting

I believe in the book, Dexter begins to feel emotion, but continues to kill because he wants to protect Harrison from the evil in the world. This could probably be integrated into the show.

I just watched season 5 myself, I can't wait for season 6, it seams it could be better then the last season, but that remains to be seen.

ill be excited either way. i side with axe....season 5 wasn terrible, but when you set the bar so fucking high with the first season, anything else seems bad. I still think the show is fun, but not nearly as fun as the first season. ill still watch it....*sigh

I feel the first 4 were still top notch. Season 4 was my favorite of them all just because of how great John Lithgow's performance was as the Trinity Killer.

he was just a "meh" character in my opinion....but i will side that he did make the season better

Well Season 5 was not bad it was fine but I thought it will be the show's finale but we'll be seeing (at least) one more season! i am very excited for season six.
