Invest in a metronome. Tapping your foot is great, but no one keeps a completely perfect beat, it may not be noticeable, but it isn't just for rhythm anyway...

Your playing will improve significantly. Work on speed building, start things off at a very slow tempo and build up slowly.

I'm not joking at all. It's boring at first, but you'll be shocked at how much you improve in just a short span of time.

I think I'm coming down with insomnia. Or possibly this is just night shift fucking with me. Usually I'm not tired but then I fall asleep at random times for only a few hours, except for last night when I fell asleep at like 8pm and woke up at about 5am.

It definitely sucks. And it's weird that it's happening now. I didn't have much of a problem for the first three or four weeks after I switched over to nights.

Also, on a slightly related note, I might be getting a new job at taco bell, which really excites me because I want nothing more right now than to quit mcdonalds. Fuck that place. Seriously.
