| I just found out that Iron Maiden are planning a new album for 2010 and I thought I'd post this and get peoples thoughts. Do you think it'll be good? Planning on seeing them on tour? I know I am. | |

so far, it is just typical maiden. nothing special
i should also let you know my musical tastes have moved past classical and power and all that stuff. im into much odder things now, so i hope my review wont be biased.

| classic is classic. the 90s were bad for most bands when it comes to creative. mostly because of the new grunge influence. and sure they kick ass on tour but i thought that the somewhere back in time, or what was it called was their last one. but then again if the rollingstones can have 30+ last tours so can iron maiden |

| it was decent. i accidentilly closed the link quite catchy and like other maiden songs.
but ho boy if that was their best track, ill stop. i liked it a little bit. but powerslave is epic, and there is no topping that

| It's ok it's just Brute : )
I would be really proud if you enjoyed 5 out of 25 bands I showed you Brute. The only one I can actually remember you liking to an extent was Obscura. And I remember I came super close to being the one that showed you Equilibium, that would have been a proud moment

| Andromeda is very cool. I'm also fairly positive you would like Pagan's Mind. Think along the lines of Dream Theater. Maybe my selection didn't reach your properly. But I'm in love with Pagan's Mind right now. I am also fairly certain you would enjoy skyfire, although it's more progressive melo death | |

Lol, it's alright, everyone likes different things. And styx, I never heard anything about this tour being their last. But then again, rumours like that fly that all the time about bands that are getting on a bit.

| yep. main crew. well that doesn't say much but it's like this: you have the road crew - mostly techs that go with the band and handle what ever the band is taking with them. instruments, sound, light. depends on who it is.
the main crew - that's the local crew most times. on some occasions that's the best crew around that can be sent to the place where the concert is being held to do their job. these guys do everything that is needed except instruments. lights and sound sometimes are also their concern. only they are allowed to handle the band equipment and to directly work with the road crew.
the local crew - in cases where you have the main crew and the local crew being different, the local crew is there only as support for the main crew. they handle the "steel" - stage and ground support. at times they can work with special equipment like lights and sound but only if the road crew approves it. in some cases that equipment is not from the band but from the main crew and then they can also help out with it. these guys you won't see anywhere near the backstage or when the concert is going on. their sole purpose is to put together and dismantle the steel, and to help with the load in and load out. |

| Dark, I definitly have high hopes if they are indeed putting out a new album-no it will not be better than their 80's tunes but I think most people don't expect it to be. I would give it a listen anyways and go to one of their shows just to see them live because it will likely be a kick ass performance | |
