Bear always has stuff. Les stroud goes with like 3 peanuts and a camera. Bear has a camera crew I believe.

I think the fact that Les can somehow kill a bear with those peanuts, and use the camera to call in a helicopter settles it.

Bear is just more exciting to watch.
