Ok, i want to get my view in here. I think i am the only US born person in here. I am not a conservative gun-toting hick who are self centered. But you will have to forgive me, i had no idea all this was going on in the world. On the political involved meter, 1-10. im about a 3. i have my views, but i am greatly detached from any real politics.
I had no idea we were taking Canada's water. that is crazy.
i will be voting for Obama. i was a Hilary fan, solely b/c she is a women and i thought a women president could do us good. i am even more pleased w/ Obama. He looks like he wont try any stupid ****, and he can string together a coherent sentence. That is mroe than Bush could ask for.
Now let me all scare you for a moment. I sit here in a very nice part of the country, low crime rate, nice people yadda yadda. And before Mccain announced Palin as his running mate, i don;t think i was planning on voting. that is Wayyy scary. Palin is sooooooo retarded, she pushed me to vote so she DOESN'T get elected.
During the debates i asked my friend if people outside the country were involved in US politics. My friend is very invovled. He said that there were people who were more interested than him. I found that absolutely crazy! Im glad some people in this world care.
and as for snow, it isn't all it is craked up to be. Hey BYD, it was 95 degrees here (no idea in Centigrade) and 5% humidity. You can bring all the snow you want here. Much appreciated.

What with the election drawing closer, i hope Obama wins so that way the world doesn't think of us as bastards. The people who manage to get into power are bastards. 90% of the country are people like me that im sure would rather be doing something else than go to war with a country for reasons unbeknownst to its citizens.

I hardly even know what the candidates stand for. But I know that McCain is a warhead and is not exactly full of life. And my fellow students can speak better than Palin.

if you ask me - none is good. well my thought on them maybe coming from the point of view that concerns only my country, but still.
McCain wants to turn my country in a military base, and i'm not a big fan of being a prisoner in my own home.
obama - well he could do sth. but the changes could only be seen in us. and that would give history a chance to repeat itself. now since most pll here are around late teens early 20s you may not remember but here we still see the scars of the bloodiest war after WW2. and i don't like the thought of being a servant in a land that's my birth right (the same reason why i voted for the ultra nationalist party last time).

To bring the world economy back to his natural course we need a very smart american president cuz he is the most powerfull leader in the world i mean if he wants to he could get the entire planet Nuked in les than 7 hours but america would be intact.
So he must be a very realistic person.

Mccain will probably kick the bucket if elected 2 or 4 years into his term, then we are stuck with Palin. and she deffinitly doens't strike me as "the next most powerful leader of the free world". what scares me sincerely is that people think she is sane and able to run the USA. absolutely mind boggling.

i guesss you could say im a democrat. i have no problem voting for a republican, but i am for gay marrige, pro choice when it comes to abortion, ad i really don't think drilling for ooil on our shores is going to work. we need, or somebody needs, to invent the next type of energy for cars. human->steam->oil-> now what. i don't care how much money we spend, i just think we need a new energy source that won;t keep polluting the environment.

Its really hard to say on abortion. If the parent is a jerk and cannot afford the kid and would most likely abuse them and the orphanedge is totally packed then I guess pro choice. But other than that it still is a person that they are cutting in pieces. Only thing about finding another way for gas is that we may spend so much money and put us so far in debt that there will be a depression. Maybe if for the last 15 years if we had a president who didn't put you guys in devt 3 billion each then we might be able to afford research.

well look the way i see it, since none of us are girls, the decision shouldn' t be up to us males. who the hell am i to tell a woman she has to have a kid. if she doesn;t think she is ready, then that kid should deffinately should not be born. and the people who decide that they aren't ready, usually are the smart people. there are thouands of dumb women here, who are NOT ready to have kids, yet they insist on keeping them and then my taxes go to those stupid people
